Summary:Summary
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll administration, maintaining payroll-related systems and procedures. This role also contributes to process improvement initiatives and collaborates closely with APAC Total Rewards and Payroll Operations Leader to ensure smooth operations of Greater China(China Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong)

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and administer monthly payroll activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve and digitize payroll processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.

  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, escalating issues proactively within defined governance timeframes.

  • Create, update, and maintain payroll standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Maintain and support the Time and Attendance System to ensure accurate employee data and payroll inputs.

  • Assist with HRA ticketing system raised within the Greater China that can be solved without requiring on-site presence.

  • Provide backup support for SEA payroll processes as needed.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

•    Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
•    Requires 5+ years’ Payroll Operations related experience.
•    Requires advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables, write advanced formulas, and use Excel as a modeling tool.
•    Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on problem solving.
•    Experience working in a highly matrixed environment.
•    Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
•    With strong oral and written communication skills in English and local language
