About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials Functional Analyst to play a critical role in optimizing our cloud ERP platform to meet the evolving needs of a fast-paced, data-driven business as part of our Enterprise Applications Team. In this role, the functional analyst will participate in our design, build and migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud and provide expertise and insight to build the future state application roadmap and process model by leveraging their software knowledge and accounting / finance expertise. The functional analyst will partner with both the Business and their fellow IT colleagues to make the future state roadmap a reality and then continue to support the applications and Infrastructure organization after implementation with the goal of continuous improvement and risk mitigation to meet the strategic growth objectives of Cloudflare.
What You'll Do Application Ownership:
  • Own the design, configuration, and delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management within our SLA guideline.
  • Collaborate during our migration project to Oracle Fusion Cloud to design and implement the future state application / process models.
  • Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into system solutions that enable speed, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Act as application champion, ensuring user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective application governance policies.
  • Monitor ongoing application performance and reliability and ensure vendor SLAs are met.
  • Own application incident management and ensure ticket SLAs are met.
  • Keep up-to-date on upcoming application releases and improvements that may impact your stakeholders.
  • Manage application versioning and ensure timely upgrades.
  • Ensure alignment with overall IT strategies and policies.
  • Monitor system performance and establish a disaster recovery strategy while parting with the Business for business continuity plans.
  • Maintain system and process documentation.
  • Support testing, data validation, change management, and end-user training during new implementations and releases.
  • Proactively monitor Oracle's quarterly updates and lead impact assessments and adoption of new features.
Stakeholder management:
  • Collaborate across IT with groups like the enterprise architecture, application managers, etc. to ensure robust and scalable system architecture.
  • Collaborate and align with Business, Product Managers, and Global Process Owners on strategic objectives, needs, pain points and prioritized roadmaps.
  • Evangelize and articulate the business value that the Enterprise Application Team delivers to the Business.
  • Communicate application capabilities, limitations, and future changes / updates with the Business and fellow IT colleagues.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication regarding process changes, updates, and performance to ensure organization-wide awareness and alignment.
Continuous Improvement and Cross-IT Collaboration:
  • Plan and execute minor enhancements and projects based on the roadmaps established by Product Managers, the Business and you for the Infrastructure organization.
  • Partner with other Application Owners and IT members to plan and execute enterprise-wide projects and identify cross-functional impacts.
  • Partner with others in IT such as Enterprise Architecture and the Integration Team to simplify our application landscape and business processes.
  • Ensure application integrations meet Cloudflare standards and are approved by the Integration Team.
  • Follow enterprise-wide data governance policies
  • Benchmark and track KPIs for application and process efficiency
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure that applications and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Work with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to mitigate risks and implement necessary controls.
  • Monitor user access.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure data integrity and maintain audit readiness.

Role Requirements (Must-Have Skills)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS or related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or EPM platforms, with a primary focus on Finance and Accounting modules.
  • Proven success leading or supporting multiple full-cycle ERP implementations, preferably in cloud-native environments.
  • Strong business acumen in core finance areas-GL, AP, AR, FA, financial reporting, and close processes.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and configure systems to meet operational and regulatory needs.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities shift quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle reporting tools (FRS and OTBI) and data loading tools(FBDI and ADFDI)

  • Proven ability to lead project initiatives and drive process improvements.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification(s)
  • Familiarity with EPM modules (e.g., FCCS, ARCS, PBCS, EDM)
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Agile project management experience (e.g., JIRA, Asana)
  • Track record of coaching and mentoring others.
