We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Planner to support operations in MacDill AFB, FL. This position is contingent on contract award. This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD TS/SCI Level clearance.
As a Senior Operations Planner, you will support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) at MacDill AFB, Florida. This position works alongside military and government personnel to support operational and strategic requirements, joint planning efforts, and mission objectives across the CENTCOM area of responsibility. You will provide subject matter expertise, contribute to planning and coordination efforts, and support senior leaders in executing USCENTCOM priorities.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all task order activities
- Provide analyses, recommendations, and draft products for JPT/working group review
- Support development of orders, analysis, estimates, and briefings for USCENTCOM leadership
- Provide SME expertise on all aspects of JOPP
- Facilitate coordination across working groups, JPT/OPT/LRPE, Components, IA, Allies
- Provide FOIA/MDR coordination support
Education Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- JAWS, SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS, or SSC graduate
- 5+ yrs planning experience
- 3+ yrs at CCMD HQ
Security Requirement
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graduate of JAWS, SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS, or SSC
- At least 5 years of planning experience
- At least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command headquarters
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
