Senior Officer – Draftsman Electrical | Substation | Gurugram
A) Job description
Should have experience in drafting work for both AIS & GIS substation.
Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures, and Layouts.
Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.
Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.
Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.
Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout
Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.
Cable schedule and quantity estimation.
Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.
Coordination with civil drawings, Mechanical drawings etc.
Awareness of ANSI Code, IEC – Clearance requirements in AIS & GIS substations
B) Software & skills required:
Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
BIM 360, Revit
MS-word, Excel
Dialux
Education requirement:
1) Bachelor’s degree in any stream or diploma in electrical. is MUST
2) Certification – AutoCAD is mandatory.
3) Certification in BIM & Revit will be added advantage.
4) Should be able to write and read English.
Skills Required
- Experience drafting AIS and GIS substations
- Knowledge of EHV equipment, structures, and layouts
- Ability to prepare general arrangement drawings
- Hands-on experience preparing HV/EHV and LT electrical single-line diagrams
- Experience preparing HV/EHV substation electrical plans and sections
- Experience preparing erection key diagrams, earthing layouts, and lightning protection layouts
- Experience preparing foundation plans and cable trench layouts
- Experience preparing cable schedules and quantity estimates
- Experience preparing panel arrangement, lighting, conduit, SLD, and BOM drawings
- Coordination experience with civil and mechanical drawings
- Awareness of ANSI codes and IEC clearance requirements for AIS and GIS substations
- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
- Bachelor's degree in any stream or diploma in electrical
- AutoCAD certification
- Ability to read and write English
- BIM and Revit certification
