Team Overview
TransUnion’s Global Infrastructure Technology Services (GITS) team supports the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of the company’s technology infrastructure. The team manages network services, infrastructure operations, service improvements, and operational support that help maintain businesscontinuity across TransUnion. This role reports to the Manager I, Desktop Systems. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Manage network and infrastructure operations, resolving incidents and major outages to minimize business disruption.
Maintain reliable services through upgrades, patching, configuration management, and operational support.
Support and optimize office networking, wireless LAN, and end-user connectivity.
Manage enterprise networking technologies, including Routing, Switching, Firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Network Security.
Configure and troubleshoot firewall policies, routing, NAT/PAT, IPS/IDS, antivirus, and related security technologies.
Support SD-WAN deployment and optimization across global locations.
Develop automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Execute Change Management, including release and rollback activities through the Route to Live process.
Manage vendor escalations and collaborate with global teams to resolve complex network issues.
Mentor support teams, share technical knowledge, and participate in on-call rotations.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
6+ years of enterprise network engineering and operations experience in complex environments.
3+ years of experience with VPN technologies, including Cisco AnyConnect and Zero Trust solutions.
3+ years of experience supporting and optimizing enterprise wireless LAN environments.
2+ years of experience with SD-WAN deployment and support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Required Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, and VPN technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco Viptela and Meraki.
Experience configuring and optimizing Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or similar wireless LAN solutions.
Experience with ITIL, ITSM tools, Change Management, and release/rollback processes, plus strong English communication and the ability to collaborate across global teams and vendor partners.
