Senior Mulesoft Developer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Mulesoft Developer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Salesforce Engineer to lead end-to-end integration initiatives connecting a B2B Salesforce ecosystem with multiple external client and partner systems.

In this role, you will act as both a technical architect and a client-facing consultant. You must be comfortable working independently, driving design discussions, gathering requirements directly from Product Owners, and aligning integration patterns across diverse third-party stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Technical Execution:
  • End-to-End Development: Design, build, test, and deploy robust MuleSoft API-led connectivity solutions (System, Process, and Experience APIs) connecting B2B Salesforce with third-party platforms, Warehouses, Anaplan etc.
  • Data Mapping & Transformation: Master complex data transformations to ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Salesforce Integration: Design event-driven and real-time integrations utilizing Salesforce connectors, Streaming APIs, Pub/Sub API, and REST/SOAP interfaces
  • Security & Governance: Implement industry-standard security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, Mutual TLS, API Policies) and adhere to AnyPoint Platform best practices
• Stakeholder Engagement & Ownership:
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Independently lead technical workshops, design sessions, and discovery meetings with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and external vendor teams
  • Interface & Design Finalization: Negotiate, define, and document API specifications (RAML/OAS) and integration contracts with external technical teams
  • Project Ownership: Drive integration tasks independently from scoping and architecture to production deployment and post-launch support with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• MuleSoft Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Mule and Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, Runtime Manager)
• Salesforce Integration: Proven experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce using native connectors and APIs
• Data transformation: Mastery of DataWeave 2.0 for complex JSON/XML/CSV transformations
• API Design: Proficiency in defining API contracts using RAML or OpenAPI Specification (OAS)
• Protocols & Standards: Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, Pub/Sub, Kafka/AMQP messaging, and Webhooks

• Independent Leadership: Strong ownership mindset with a proven track record of working without micro-management
• Client Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and external technical partners
• Requirement Gathering: Ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical design documents
