Associate Metallurgist Technology
Primary Responsibilities for the Associate Metallurgist Technology:
Entry level position to learn basic company processes, alloys, and customers.
Develops skills which will enable provision of a range of technical services to our internal and external customers supporting the attainment of Company and division goals.
Demonstrates the understanding of how to properly make disposition of non-conforming and off-standard material.
Supports team efforts with supervision.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required for the Associate Metallurgist Technology:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineer or related field required.
0-2 years of relevant experience required.
Preferred for the Associate Metallurgist Technology:
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
Ability to access mill and manufacturing areas.
Ability to travel.
Ability to learn statistical methods and tools..
Ability to function as an individual contributor with direct supervision.
Ability to provide guidance to peers and manager in own projects and opportunities with moderate assistance.
