Communication Div. - Senior Media Manager

YOUR MISSION:

The Senior Media Manager is responsible for defining and executing integrated media strategy to strengthen the Maison’s desirability, cultural influence, and business impact across all paid media channels. As the media expert for the Korean market, this role will lead the development of innovative media strategies spanning digital, social, video, premium publishing, OOH, and emerging media platforms, ensuring every campaign reinforces Cartier’s positioning as the leading luxury Maison.
Working closely with HQ, Regional teams, internal stakeholders, and media agencies, the Media Senior Manager will continuously identify new opportunities to elevate Cartier’s visibility, engage high-value audiences, and maximize media effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of luxury communication.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Integrated Media Strategy

  • Develop and execute Cartier Korea’s annual integrated media strategy aligned with Maison priorities and business objectives.

  • Design full-funnel media strategies that strengthen brand desirability while supporting commercial objectives.

  • Define channel roles and investment priorities across digital, social, video, premium publishing, OOH, and emerging media platforms.

  • Ensure every media strategy consistently reflects Cartier’s luxury positioning and communication standards.

2. Digital Media Excellence

  • Lead Cartier Korea’s digital media ecosystem with deep expertise across paid social, programmatic, search, video, and premium digital platforms.

  • Continuously identify emerging media opportunities, digital platform innovations, and evolving consumer behaviors to maintain Cartier’s leadership in luxury communication.

  • Leverage audience insights and data-driven intelligence to optimize media effectiveness and audience engagement

  • Challenge and guide global media agencies to continuously elevate planning quality and digital performance.

3. Media Partnership & Market Intelligence

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with premium media partners to maximize Cartier’s visibility and brand impact.

  • Identify high-impact partnership opportunities across premium publishers, cultural platforms, and key media ecosystems.

  • Monitor competitive media activities, luxury communication trends, and evolving consumer media behaviors.

  • Provide strategic market intelligence and actionable recommendations to support communication planning.

4. Campaign Performance & Media Optimization

  • Define campaign KPIs in collaboration with other stakeholders.

  • Monitor media performance and proactively recommend optimization opportunities throughout campaign execution.

  • Deliver post-campaign analysis with actionable insights and best practices, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Measure campaign effectiveness to maximize media investment and communication impact.

5. Agency & Cross-functional leadership

  • Lead relationships with media agencies and ensure best-in-class planning and execution.

  • Collaborate closely with PR, Events, Client Experience, Retail, CRM, E-commerce and HQ stakeholders to deliver fully integrated communication campaigns.

  • Ensure local media initiatives align with Cartier’s global strategy while maximizing relevance within the Korean market.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the media function.

  • Coach and develop team members by fostering capability building, knowledge sharing, and a high-performance culture.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in integrated media, digital communications, or media strategy within a luxury brand or leading media agency.

  • Strong knowledge of the Korean media landscape, digital ecosystem, and evolving luxury consumer behaviors.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into strategic media recommendations that deliver measurable brand and commercial impact.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging media insights, performance data, and market intelligence to drive decision-making.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across complex, matrix organizations with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with experience coaching teams and leading agency partners toward high performance.

  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and commercially minded, with a continuous learning mindset and passion for innovation.

  • Fluent in English and Korean, both written and spoken.

Skills Required
