The Senior Marketing Operations & Projects Lead, is a key member of the Marketing & Digital Commerce leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Digital Commerce Officer (CMDCO). This role drives, facilitates, and reports on the key strategic initiatives of the CMDCO within the Marketing & Digital Commerce team, ensuring the effective monitoring and execution of high-impact initiatives, ensuring achievement of business goals, operational efficiency, and developing high team performance, disciplined performance reporting and analysis, and high team engagement.
The role provides drives strategic planning, project coordination, budget development and performance tracking, and management reporting. While it includes a small portion of operation and administrative support for the CMDCO, covering advisory as well as executive activities, the role’s primary focus is on developing and maintaining a strong, performance-driven, cross-team strategic plan, and uplifting the effectiveness and efficiency of team operations, while contributing to the strategic direction and culture of the team.

1. Strategic Operational Support

Partner with the CMDCO to advice on and drive strategic priorities, coordinate & enhance cross-functional activities and initiatives, and ensure alignment across Marketing and Digital Commerce programs. Develop planning, execution, and tracking of key projects and transformation efforts.

2. Operational Planning & Team Engagement

Manage onboarding, team logistics, and department-wide engagement activities. Identify and lead process improvements and drive operational planning to ensure smooth execution across the team.

3. Management Reporting, Governance & Compliance Support

Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports. Support governance reviews, policy implementation, and internal audits. Accountable for delivering and ensuring process documentation and compliance readiness.

4. Budget & Expense Management

Lead the creation of budgets for two teams (Marketing and Digital Commerce) and maintain oversight and responsibility for ensuring that expense amounts and timing fall within the agreed budget. Manage tracking of the overall team budget, vendor contract and procurement approval process, and manage the team expenses. Coordinate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

5. Executive Advisory, Coordination & Support

Provide strategic advice, as well as operational and administrative support to the CMDCO, including calendar and travel management, meeting coordination, and preparation of executive presentations. Exercises judgement to proactively suggest and follow-through on required action items.
