The role / impact
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Canada, which represents one of our most strategically important international growth markets. Reporting directly to the GM of Growth Marketing, International Markets, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns tailored for national Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners as well as Small Business customers. By collaborating closely with Enterprise sales, regional operations, and global creative teams, you will drive brand awareness, product consideration, and customer conversion across the region.
Your impact will be highly visible as you directly influence small business growth contribution, marketing qualified leads, and the health of the sales pipeline. You will balance long-term growth strategies with short-term tactical initiatives, taking accountability for a dedicated regional budget and utilising data-driven insights to continuously optimise campaign performance.
The team / how they connect
You will join a collaborative and output-driven marketing team based in Toronto, which includes the direct management of a regional events specialist. The team operates within a global matrix, working hand-in-hand with product marketing, sales, and external agencies to deliver seamless customer experiences. Together, we focus on building trust through transparency, nurturing positive relationships, and championing the voice of our community.
The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on
Developing annual and quarterly go-to-market plans, defining target segmentation and core messaging platforms for the Canadian market.
Designing and launching bespoke Account-Based Marketing strategies and co-marketing programmes for large enterprise accounting firms.
Partnering with Product Marketing to bring new features, tools, and value propositions directly to Canadian small businesses and advisors.
Embedding rigorous testing, measurement, and tracking into multi-channel campaigns using Salesforce and marketing automation tools.

This position is based in our Toronto office space, offering a flexible, trust-based hybrid working environment. You will have access to our international marketing network, combining regular in-office collaboration days with the autonomy to work effectively from home.
Here are some of the things we are looking for
You bring a solid background in B2B marketing, specifically focused on external partner or channel marketing within SaaS, technology, or fintech sectors.
You have a proven track record of designing and executing Account-Based Marketing strategies for large enterprise accounts.
You possess experience running successful co-marketing and affiliate programmes from concept through to performance analysis.
Your technical toolset includes familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms like SFMC or HubSpot, and analytics tools.
You offer exceptional communication skills, with total comfort presenting to senior executives and aligning cross-functional teams.
You display a self-starter mindset with strong ownership, adaptability, and a genuine curiosity to test and learn.
Compensation & Total Rewards

The expected base salary range for this role is $103,500 - $153,500 CAD.
Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:

Skills Required
