Job Description
Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of theatrical marketing campaigns in Mexico, ensuring strong business performance, cultural relevance, and audience engagement.
This role serves as a key integrator across marketing disciplines, connecting media, digital, publicity, promotions, creative, and exhibitor initiatives into 360° campaigns. The Senior Marketing Manager leverages audience insights, market intelligence, and performance data to inform decisions and maximize campaign effectiveness, working closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders.
The position plays a key role in fostering collaboration, operational excellence, and innovation across the internal and external marketing organization, working in partnership with agencies, media partners and vendors, making sure that campaigns are executed efficiently and drive impact for individual releases, while supporting the long-term growth of key franchises.
Key Role Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and execution of 360° integrated marketing campaigns for theatrical releases.
- Translate global studio strategies into locally relevant plans that resonate with audiences in Mexico.
- Ensure alignment between campaign objectives, audience priorities, and business goals.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen campaign performance through strategic optimizations and innovative approaches.
- Drive collaboration across media, digital, publicity, promotions, partnerships, creative services, and exhibitor marketing.
Audience & Business Intelligence
- Leverage campaign trackings, social listening, box office performance, consumer signals and market intelligence to guide strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with BI teams to identify actionable insights and opportunities.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic lead with local, regional, and global stakeholders to align campaign priorities and share market intelligence.
- Support executive presentations, campaign reviews, strategic recommendations, and performance reporting.
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution and opportunities.
- Foster collaboration across WBD areas and key business partners.
Operational Process Improvement
- Champion the continuous improvement of marketing capabilities, processes, and WOW to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and marketing effectiveness.
- Drive the adoption of integrated planning frameworks and workflows that improve cross-functional alignment and campaign execution.
- Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen operational effectiveness, agility and decision-making.
Team Leadership
- Foster a collaborative, data driven and results-oriented culture across the marketing team.
- Encourage knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Support the development of new capabilities and best practices that strengthen overall marketing performance.
Budget & Resource Management
