Position Responsibilities
● Creates marketing proposals, either independently or under direction of others (depending on the complexity of the proposal).
● Creates marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, and manages the interview process.
● Creates and updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, brochures, and other textual and visual materials.
● Conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects.
● Assists with development and implementation of pursuit strategies, under direction of others.
● Engaged in business plan development and supporting marketing collateral.
● Uses Salesforce as reference for SOM project facts and contributes to data maintenance.
● Develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of regional
portfolio.
● Contributes to training of Marketing Coordinators, at an introductory level.
● Involved in professional associations and/or industry associations as needed.
● Assists with other duties and tasks as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
● Completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
● 3+ years experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry.
● Strong writing and graphic design skills.
● Strong organizational skills.
● Strong project management skills.

● Ability to work with senior leaders across a firm.
● Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
● Keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry
● Experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus.
● Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
