The Senior Marketing Analyst position is an individual contributor role that reports to the Asphalt Value Chain (AVC) Coordinating Manager and focuses on budget development and monitoring, terminal expense management, and project analysis.
- Develops and implements comprehensive reporting for AVC, consisting of various reporting responsibilities ranging from short-term (daily) to monthly and annual comparisons.
- Serves as a lead in assisting AVC with ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, contract analysis, and financial model analysis.
- Own and lead budgeting, forecasting, and expense management across multiple AVC cost centers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Serves as a lead in assisting management and business partners in the ongoing development and analysis of data necessary to measure profitability of various classes of trade and markets. Serves as a contact for Business Development and IT project-related work.
- Stays informed of industry trends, regulations, economic conditions, and commercial and consumer needs to make educated recommendations on marketing strategies and business opportunities.
- Supports strategies to enhance commercial value. Maintains positive customer relationships and promptly addresses customer concerns.
- Identifies and implements business process improvement ideas that create internal process efficiencies and/or reduce transactional or administrative costs for customers.
- Drive continuous improvement of budgeting, reporting, and data processes, including system enhancements and data integrity initiatives.
