Job Description
- Lead Manufacturing & Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and decrease downtime.
- Production Monitoring: Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are met.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot equipment/jigs&fixture issues and coordinate preventive maintenance or repairs.
- Documentation & Standards: Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering, facility, quality and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Provide technical support to internal customers, resolving issues such as Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and Dead on Arrival (DOA) evaluations. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- System: Able to use/read/edit CAD drawings, SAP BOMs, Engineering Change Control, etc
- Participate in other projects as assigned, supporting broader organizational goals and targets.
- Staff Training: Train and certify production technician on new instrument assembly, processes, final tests and safety protocols.
- Adherence to PerkinElmer values & standards, observe and ensure full compliance with PerkinElmer Code of Business Conducts.
- To observe and ensure full compliance with PerkinElmer EHS Standards.
Skills Required
- Ability to read, use, and edit CAD drawings
- Experience working with SAP BOMs
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Control processes/systems
- Experience in manufacturing process optimization and production monitoring
