Role Purpose

The role is responsible to lead the entire testing domain for Mobility Solution tools in alignment with the system capabilities and the functional objectives.

Role Accountability 

  1. Design the required test strategy in line with the scope and organization standards
  2. Collect the queries related to the requirements and get them resolved by the business assigned to the project
  3. Create the software test plan, get it reviewed and approved/ signed-off by the relevant stakeholders
  4. Review the test cases and test data generated by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments
  5. Collaborate with 7-8 program managers and managing multiple testing projects at same time
  6. Scan the environment for latest testing techniques, strategies, testing tools/ test frameworks 
  7. Plan and organize the knowledge transfer to the Software Test Engineers and self
  8. Track the new/ updated requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly
  9. Determine, procure, control, maintain and optimize the test environment (hardware, software and network)
  10. Review the test automation created by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments
  11. Identify and isolate performance bottlenecks, defects and problems and provide advice/assistance to rectify issues
  12. Report on test status as well as reporting and escalating risks and issues appropriately
  13. Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines

  2. Execution trends by status and by user
  3. Defect distribution by status and phase
  4. Defect open and close rates
  5. Putting project-level metrics together
  6. Project level FMEA
  7. Timely and accurate updation of process documentation
  8. Process Adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Black box Testing, Database Testing, Integration Testing
  2. Knowledge of KONY platform
  3. Knowledge of QC (Quality Center) or other test management tool
  4. Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC
  5. Experience in developing and deploying automation suites using QTP
  6. Experience of testing tools such as Quality Center/ALM, Load Runner , UFT/QTP etc.
  7. Experience of RPA tools such as NICE, UI Path, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere
  8. Experience in Database such as Oracle, SQL Server
  9. Experience in programming languages such as JAVA, .NET, C##,Python, VBA/VBS
  10. Experience of testing Web Services API’s with SOAP UI
