Role Purpose
The role is responsible to lead the entire testing domain for Mobility Solution tools in alignment with the system capabilities and the functional objectives.
Role Accountability
- Design the required test strategy in line with the scope and organization standards
- Collect the queries related to the requirements and get them resolved by the business assigned to the project
- Create the software test plan, get it reviewed and approved/ signed-off by the relevant stakeholders
- Review the test cases and test data generated by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments
- Collaborate with 7-8 program managers and managing multiple testing projects at same time
- Scan the environment for latest testing techniques, strategies, testing tools/ test frameworks
- Plan and organize the knowledge transfer to the Software Test Engineers and self
- Track the new/ updated requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly
- Determine, procure, control, maintain and optimize the test environment (hardware, software and network)
- Review the test automation created by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments
- Identify and isolate performance bottlenecks, defects and problems and provide advice/assistance to rectify issues
- Report on test status as well as reporting and escalating risks and issues appropriately
- Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines

- Putting project-level metrics together

- Timely and accurate updation of process documentation

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications
- Black box Testing, Database Testing, Integration Testing
- Knowledge of KONY platform
- Knowledge of QC (Quality Center) or other test management tool
- Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC
- Experience in developing and deploying automation suites using QTP
- Experience of testing tools such as Quality Center/ALM, Load Runner , UFT/QTP etc.
- Experience of RPA tools such as NICE, UI Path, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere
- Experience in Database such as Oracle, SQL Server
- Experience in programming languages such as JAVA, .NET, C##,Python, VBA/VBS
- Experience of testing Web Services API’s with SOAP UI
