Introduction to the Team

Expedia Group B2B connects partners across the travel industry to our leading technology, supply, and services, helping them deliver seamless travel experiences to their customers. From airlines and hotels to financial institutions and other travel platforms, we power smarter, faster, and more impactful travel solutions through one of the most connected marketplaces in travel.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Product Operations to help scale Digital Operations by bringing stronger technical program leadership, operating rigor, and cross-functional execution to the team. This role will be responsible for creating and evolving the processes, governance, and planning frameworks that enable our organization to deliver effectively across Paid Media, Web, Email, CRM, Engineering and emerging digital channels.

This person will act as the technical PM and operational backbone for the team, driving intake, prioritization, dependency management, roadmap visibility, and execution discipline across initiatives. They will work across Marketing Operations, Engineering, Product, Web Experience, Paid Media, CRM, Analytics, and AI to ensure the highest-value work is moving forward, teams are aligned, and operating models continue to mature as the organization grows.

This is a high-impact role for a leader who can bring structure to ambiguity, create scalable ways of working, and raise the bar on how cross-functional digital initiatives are planned and delivered.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end intake, prioritization, and roadmap management process across Digital Operations initiatives spanning Marketing Operations, Engineering, Web, Paid Media, CRM, Analytics, AI, and new partner-facing channels.

  • Serve as the technical program lead across a complex portfolio of work, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, appropriately prioritized, and executed with strong cross-functional alignment.

  • Drive quarterly and annual planning cycles, including capacity planning, dependency management, sequencing, and resource allocation across multiple teams and workstreams.

  • Establish and continuously improve governance frameworks, decision-making processes, operating rhythms, and escalation paths that help the organization scale effectively.

  • Build repeatable playbooks, documentation standards, and execution frameworks that create consistency across how work is requested, assessed, planned, delivered, and measured.

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing Operations, Web Experience, Paid Media, CRM, Analytics, and business stakeholders to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.

  • Identify and manage risks, blockers, dependencies, and timeline tradeoffs, and ensure leaders have the right visibility to make informed decisions.

  • Create clear accountability models and mechanisms that help teams adhere to process while still moving with speed and flexibility.

  • Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into throughput, capacity, roadmap health, delivery performance, and business impact.

  • Lead operational reviews and executive communications that support prioritization, portfolio decisions, and continuous improvement.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive operational improvements that increase delivery quality, execution speed, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Build a strong understanding of the broader marketing and digital technology ecosystem, including CRM, marketing automation, web platforms, data platforms, analytics, paid media technologies, and AI-enabled workflows, to support modernization and integration efforts.

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, Product Management, Marketing Operations, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across business, product, engineering, and operations teams.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and product delivery frameworks.

  • Experience creating scalable processes, governance models, and operating cadences for teams working across multiple functions or channels.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive intake, prioritization, planning, and dependency management across competing demands.

  • Experience working with Marketing Technology, CRM, web platforms, digital experience systems, analytics, or broader data ecosystems.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear plans and actions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

  • Experience leading change, improving team effectiveness, and driving operational maturity within a growing organization.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Marketing, Digital Experience, Paid Media, CRM, Growth, or MarTech organizations.

  • Experience working with AI, automation, and modern workflow technologies.

  • Familiarity with enterprise data ecosystems, cloud technologies, and platform integration initiatives.

  • Experience developing portfolio management, roadmap governance, or strategic planning processes.

  • Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting mechanisms that connect operational health to business outcomes.
