What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to the global Talent Acquisition strategy by leading initiatives related to assessment excellence, recruiter capability, recruiting technology, AI adoption, talent intelligence, and process improvement.
  • Establish consistent assessment and selection practices across the region, including competency-based interviews, interview scorecards, work samples, and other job-relevant evaluation methods.
  • Partner with senior business and People leaders to build hiring strategies that support workforce plans, business priorities, and future capability needs across EMEA.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, strengthening capability in advisory skills, sourcing, assessment, stakeholder management, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Use labour market insights, hiring data, and talent intelligence to provide clear recommendations on hiring trends, talent availability, recruiting effectiveness, and workforce planning decisions.

What we're looking for

  • Significant leadership of recruiting teams across EMEA. Ideally within complex, matrixed, or global organisations.
  • Strong expertise in structured interviewing, skills-based assessment, and selection methodology.
  • Experience designing or implementing interview frameworks, assessment processes, evaluation criteria, interviewer training, or talent assessment programs.
  • Experience partnering with senior and executive stakeholders to translate business priorities into hiring strategies and workforce plans.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting data and translate it into practical insights and recommendations for business leaders.
  • Experience using AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflows responsibly and effectively.
  • Ability to coach hiring managers, recruiters, and business leaders on assessment quality, interviewer calibration, and hiring decisions.

Preferred qualifications (Advantageous but not essential)

  • Certification in assessment, selection, interviewing, talent management, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with psychometric assessments, validation principles, and modern talent assessment technologies.
  • Background in workforce planning, talent intelligence, talent management, or organizational capability initiatives.
  • Experience supporting financial services, investment, technology, data, or professional services organizations.

What We Do

We are a global investment research and financial data company with 40-plus offices across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Our products and services are used daily by individual investors, financial advisors, asset managers, retirement plan providers, and institutional investors. We provide data, research, and analysis across managed investment products, publicly listed companies, private capital markets, debt securities, and real-time global market data. The financial system can have real barriers—hidden information, friction that can slow decisions, and forces that can limit transparency and access. We work to remove them, bringing independent research, connected data, and investor-first tools to a system that needs more clarity. The people doing this work span research, technology, design, product, sales, and functional areas. We build many of our products in-house, so the work can connect directly to the tools investors use to make real financial decisions.

Why Work With Us

Morningstar’s missing is to empower investor success. We can only do that if our people feel empowered. That means finding people who think independently, bring a wide range of backgrounds with analytical rigor and genuine intellectual curiosity to the work.
