What we need
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager who understand the importance of fostering a strong team environment and can develop trusting relationships with their team members. We are looking for people who thrive in a creative, collaborative and agile development environment.
What we do
We are a talented team of roboticists and software engineers working on the latest Symbotic automation expansion. We are responsible for delivering solutions for the ordering, processing and delivery of mixed SKU totes to hundreds of customers.
What you'll do
Own the complete software development lifecycle; defining, prioritizing, designing, and leading implementation and testing of new features within a fast paced, Agile environment.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team and ensure project plans and delivery commitments are met.
Manage department resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing to maintain a best-in class engineering team. Hold regular 1:1s with the team.
Promote and instill best practices in software engineering development.
Collaborating with other engineering teams on planning, design and development for releases.
Coach, mentor, and lead a diverse group of software engineers, helping them to grow technically and professionally.
Help attract and develop top tier talent through recruitment activities and workforce development.
What you'll need
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Development.
Minimum of 3 years spent as a team lead or manager of software development.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable code implemented on schedule.
Experience leading teams in an Agile development environment.
Knowledge of C++ or .NET technologies including C#, WCF and Entity Framework.
Experience with Distributed and Highly Performant systems.
Familiarity with SQL Server database technologies is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Our environment
Up to 10% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $180,000.00 - $247,500.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.Similar Jobs
