The Senior Manager, Project Management is a senior leadership role accountable for building high-performing teams, delivery excellence, and the continuous evolution of the Project Management discipline. The role combines line management of experienced Project Managers, active ownership of the firm’s most complex initiatives, and location leadership for the Krakow Project Management population.
Key Accountabilities1. People Leadership, Team Performance & Upskilling• Build and sustain high-performing project management teams, setting and reinforcing a consistently high performance bar
• Manage and coach 6–8 senior Project Managers (typically 10–15 years’ experience)
• Drive continuous upskilling across delivery leadership, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and execution discipline
• Provide structured coaching, feedback, and performance management aligned to enterprise PM standards
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and delivery excellence
• Support project, pod, and portfolio staffing decisions to ensure optimal use of PM capability and capacity
• Actively manage demand versus supply, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and succession gaps
• Serve as escalation point for delivery conflicts, prioritization trade-offs, and performance concerns
• Support hiring, onboarding, and talent planning for the PM population
• Act as Lead Project Manager for the most complex, high-risk, and business-critical initiatives
• Demonstrate deep expertise across both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, applying the right approach for the context
• Own end-to-end delivery including planning, governance, SDLC alignment, financial management, risk, and stakeholder communication
• Model best-in-class project artifacts, controls, and execution discipline
• Own and evolve PM standards, SDLC alignment, and delivery governance
• Lead PPM tool enablement, adoption, and effective usage across the PM community
• Ensure consistent use of project artifacts, reporting, and financial controls
• Balance standardization with pragmatism to enable scalable, high-quality delivery
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve delivery efficiency, insight quality, and execution rigor
• Build AI proficiency across the PM population through practical use cases and applied learning
• Identify, pilot, and scale repeatable AI use cases across planning, reporting, risk, and forecasting
• Provide visible leadership for the Krakow Project Management population
• Act as direct line manager and coach for local PMs, aligned to global standards and expectations
• Build a strong local PM community focused on excellence, development, and engagement
• Represent Krakow within the global PM leadership forum
• Prior hands-on experience as a Project Manager delivering complex initiatives
• 15+ years of Project / Program Management experience in complex, regulated, or global environments
• Proven expertise across Agile and Waterfall delivery models and SDLC frameworks
• Strong financial management, performance management, hiring, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and consistently raise the delivery bar
• Credible executive communicator with strong influencing skills
