The Role:
Leads a centralized purchasing center aligned to key commodities and is accountable for transactional procurement execution at scale. Owns enterprise-wide execution on direct material purchases, supplier delivery commitments, and day‑to‑day issue resolution, acting as the primary interface between Entegris and the supply base. Ensures sourcing strategies, contracts, and policies are consistently executed through standardized buying processes. Manages regional workload balancing and drives improvements in cycle time, cost‑to‑serve, compliance, and execution quality while maintaining supply continuity. Provides timely feedback to category leaders and plant procurement teams on supplier performance and emerging risks. This role provides strategic leadership for procurement operations while driving service, cost, compliance, and operational performance outcomes across the organization.
In this role you will:
- Establish department objectives, operational policies, work plans, and performance expectations aligned with business priorities.
- Owns end-to-end purchasing process execution and governance.
- Executes enterprise direct material buying and supplier commitments.
- Lead procurement operations through managers and supervisors, ensuring effective deployment of resources and consistent execution of purchasing activities.
- Own procurement governance, standard work, escalation processes, and performance management across the organization.
- Drive enterprise initiatives that improve procurement execution, supplier performance, operational efficiency, compliance, automation, and data quality.
- Oversee performance against key procurement metrics (PEAK) and implement improvement strategies to achieve service, cost, quality, and inventory objectives.
- Maintains master data accuracy across materials, suppliers, and pricing.
- Advise senior leaders on supplier risk, capacity constraints, continuity concerns, operational readiness, and procurement execution strategies.
- Lead talent development, succession planning, organizational capability building, and leadership development across the procurement operations team.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Procurement leadership to drive business results and support enterprise objectives.
