- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant time in HR operations, compliance, or benefits administration, with at least 2–3 years in a people leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes, HR data management, and case management within a regional or multi-country environment
- In-depth understanding of federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations in the US, with the ability to support and expand knowledge internationally
- Demonstrated expertise in benefits and leave administration, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders, and navigating complex escalations
- Proven experience in compliance auditing, risk assessments, and management of statutory reporting (e.g., AAP, EEO-1, government contractor requirements)
- Proficiency in ADP and experience with other HR technology tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across functions and levels
- Demonstrated people management experience, including coaching, workload prioritization, and developing capabilities within a team
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Lead day-to-day delivery of HR People Services, ensuring high-quality, timely support for employees and managers
- Own benefits and leave operations, including administration, eligibility, enrollment, life events, escalations, and vendor coordination, in partnership with Total Rewards
- Oversee lifecycle employee processes (onboarding, transfers, job changes, terminations) and ensure consistent application of policies, workflows, and documentation standards
- Monitor and interpret changes in federal, state, provincial, and local employment regulations and ensure timely updates to policies, processes, and notices regionally
- Lead compliance initiatives and internal audits, including EEO, AAP, government contract obligations, and other statutory reporting, maintaining audit readiness across all supported jurisdictions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Operations team systems and tools
- Implement and refine standardized operating procedures, knowledge articles, and self-service resources to drive efficiency and an excellent employee experience
- Provide development for People Services team members, building capabilities in benefits, compliance, and operational excellence
- Collaborate closely with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and IT to resolve complex cases and support cross-functional initiatives
- Support change management and communication efforts for new or updated HR policies, programs, and systems
- Identify process, policy, and system improvement opportunities and lead or contribute to projects that enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
- Review and optimize our workplace policies, procedures and HR compliance across multiple offices in the U.S. (and possibly international as we grow)
