The Role

Entegris is seeking a new Senior Manager, Human Resources to join our team in Aurora, IL.

The new Senior HR Manager will play a key role in aligning Human Resources strategy with Entegris business priorities at the Aurora Campus, a complex, multi-functional site that includes Operations, Product Management, R&D, Technology, IT, Finance, and other corporate functions. This role serves as a trusted partner to site and functional leaders, balancing strategic workforce support with strong operational execution to build organizational capability, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and attract, engage, develop, and retain top talent. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Translate business strategy and site priorities into practical HR plans, actions, and workforce solutions that support operational goals. 

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to operations and site leadership, providing day-to-day consultation on workforce planning, staffing, organizational effectiveness, and leader decision-making. 

  • Provide visible operational HRBP support for the campus, including regular leader engagement, floor presence, and timely response to employee and manager needs. 

  • Partner with leaders on headcount planning, hiring prioritization, internal movement, succession planning, and capability building for critical roles. 

  • Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, policy application, investigations, restructuring, and complex employee matters. 

  • Lead and support organizational design, change management, and transformation efforts to improve effectiveness, clarity, and scalability. 

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Operations, and other COEs to ensure strong execution of HR programs and site-specific needs. 

  • Support operational people processes including onboarding, shift and workforce changes, attendance and scheduling considerations, employee communications, and compliance-related activities in partnership with site leadership. 

  • Use data and insights to identify workforce trends, solve complex business issues, and provide recommendations to senior leaders. 

  • Drive execution of annual HR processes and large-scale initiatives, ensuring high-quality implementation and adoption across the client group. 

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help standardize HR practices that improve employee experience, manager capability, and operational efficiency. 

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination across other HR partners supporting the campus or client groups, as applicable. 

 

What We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 

  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably including meaningful support of manufacturing or operations organizations. 

  • Demonstrated ability to independently support senior leaders, influence decisions, and translate business priorities into practical HR actions. 

  • Experience working in a multi-location, matrixed, and global organization. 

  • Strong experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, organizational design, and change management. 

  • Proven capability supporting operational HR needs such as workforce planning, staffing plans, onboarding, policy interpretation, and execution of people processes in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and provide actionable recommendations. 

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization. 

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, work independently, and manage multiple priorities with follow-through. 

  • Proven project and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of U.S. labor and employment law. 

  • Proven capability working with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred. 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery. 

  • M&A experience is a plus. 

  • HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred. 

  • Willing to travel up to 20%

  • Compensation: $125,000 - $170,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
