We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, GSINC Value Realization within the Global Simplification and Innovation in Contracting program, GSINC.
Do you seek big, complex, and ambiguous challenges? Are you passionate about turning transformation investments into measurable outcomes? Do you want to build the evidence, insights, and decision systems that show whether enterprise change is delivering real value?
GSINC is building an integrated, AI-enabled contracting capability designed to make contracting faster, simpler, more consistent, and more valuable to the enterprise. The program brings together process, policy, templates, technology, data, and intelligence to establish a scalable contracting foundation across Johnson & Johnson.
Purpose: The Senior Manager, GSINC Value Realization is the enterprise benefits, performance, and outcome-management leader for this transformation. Reporting through the GSINC Transformation Office, the role converts the approved business case and GSINC strategy into measurable OKRs, benefit cases, baselines, value forecasts, evidence standards, and recurring realization reviews.
The Senior Manager partners with Finance, workstream leaders, business activation owners, PMO, Change & Communications, technology, data and analytics teams, and business groups to connect delivery and adoption evidence to operational and financial outcomes. Workstream and business leaders retain accountability for delivering their outcomes; this role owns the integrated value framework, challenge, evidence quality, scorecards, and realization-review process.
You will be responsible for:
Value Strategy and Governance- Own the integrated GSINC value-realization framework, taxonomy, evidence standards, decision rights, review cadence, and governance.
- Define how value progresses from hypothesis and approved business case through enabled, validated, realized, and sustained outcomes without creating a parallel delivery process.
- Translate enterprise and workstream objectives into measurable benefit cases with documented assumptions, baselines, methods, data sources, timing, dependencies, risks, and owners.
- Maintain the enterprise benefits register and ensure material benefits have clear acceptance criteria and validation paths.
- Lead development and tracking of enterprise and workstream OKRs and a practical KPI library spanning delivery, adoption, operational, financial, risk, and stakeholder outcomes.
- Integrate reliable data into dashboards and value scorecards that explain progress, variance, confidence, timing, data limitations, and corrective action.
- Partner with Finance and benefit owners to validate assumptions, methods, attribution, forecasts, and reported outcomes.
- Maintain traceability to the approved business case and distinguish savings, cost avoidance, productivity capacity, risk reduction, operational improvement, and non-financial value.
- Connect benefit milestones and evidence requirements to the roadmap, readiness, adoption, hypercare, and sustainment.
- Lead post-implementation reviews, identify leakage or unplanned value, and drive agreed remediation, reforecasting, reinforcement, or benefit retirement.
- Build the value-management and performance-analytics capability across employees, matrixed analysts, Finance, technology, data owners, workstreams, and external partners.
- Set clear data requirements, quality expectations, deliverable acceptance criteria, review cycles, and knowledge-transfer requirements for the future run-state model.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, economics, strategy, operations, analytics, engineering, technology, life sciences, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in value realization, benefits management, finance, strategy, business operations, transformation, performance management, analytics, enterprise PMO, management consulting, or related roles.
- Strong experience with OKRs, benefit cases, KPI design, baselining, forecasting, variance analysis, attribution, data quality, adoption-to-outcome linkage, and post-implementation review.
- Ability to integrate operational and financial data into actionable dashboards and decision-ready executive insights.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions constructively and influence senior leaders and benefit owners without direct authority.
- Experience leading employees, matrixed analysts, cross-functional teams, or external partners; up to 15% travel may be required.
- Master’s degree or advanced education in business administration, finance, economics, analytics, strategy, operations, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience governing a large-scale transformation business case, benefits register, KPI library, value scorecard, Finance validation process, and post-implementation reviews preferred.
- Experience in life sciences, legal operations, contracting, procurement, enterprise transformation, consulting, technology-enabled operations, or global business services preferred.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, automation, contract intelligence, data and AI-enabled transformation, and adoption analytics preferred.
Leadership Capabilities:
- Outcome orientation: Connects delivery and adoption evidence to measurable operational, financial, risk, and experience outcomes.
- Analytical judgment: Tests assumptions, methods, attribution, and data quality before translating evidence into decisions.
- Enterprise integration: Creates one coherent view across Finance, workstreams, technology, change, PMO, and business owners.
- Constructive influence: Challenges unsupported value claims while preserving clear accountability for functional outcomes.
- Executive communication: Explains complex performance and value information through concise, decision-ready insights.
- Capability leadership: Builds sustainable value-management practices, talent, data disciplines, and run-state ownership.
