We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Intelligence to drive market and competitive insight across the forest based materials value chain.
In this role, you will transform internal data, market intelligence and strategic analysis into clear, actionable insights that support executive decision making. The position sits at the intersection of market intelligence, competitive analysis, strategy and enterprise risk management, with strong exposure to executive stakeholders and cross functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve business intelligence processes, integrating industry, market, and macroeconomic data
- Analyze industry, and value chain trends across packaging, paper, board, pulp, and adjacent areas
- Track and assess competitor strategies and performance
- Deliver concise executive and board level analyses and presentations on key strategic and business intelligence themes
- Support M&A work such as market screening and segment analysis
- Act as a connector across business areas and corporate functions, and contribute to capability building within Strategy & BI
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a business-minded strategist with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning complexity into clarity.
We belive that you bring:
- A university degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in strategy, business intelligence, management consulting, or corporate strategy
- A solid understanding of the pulp, paper, and packaging industry and its competitive dynamics
- The ability to synthesize complex information into clear, decision oriented messages
- Experience working in international, matrix organizations with senior stakeholders
- A structured, business oriented, and curious mindset andfluency in English
