The Role & Department
With a clear strategy of becoming an integrated end-to-end biotech innovation powerhouse, Genmab recently started to market and sell their own products within cancer treatment. Expanding its focus to being directly vested in the commercialization of the company’s products, we are now looking to further strengthen the Commercial Supply Chain team in Denmark.
Genmab is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Serialization, to join the Commercial Supply Chain team. In this role you will work to support and strengthen the further commercialization of Genmab’s portfolio and ensure compliance with global serialization and track-and-trace requirements. Also play a key role in managing serialization activities across the supply chain, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain seamless operations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products to patients worldwide.
The Senior Manager, Global Supply Serialization, will become a part of the Commercial Supply Chain department. A department that currently employs 18 people in Denmark and US.
Key Responsibilities Include

Ensure serialization solutions fully adhere to global regulatory requirements (e.g., EU FMD, US DSCSA) and stay updated on evolving legislation to maintain compliance.

Single point of contact for regulatory authorities for serialization related topics.

Responsible for configuration and ongoing support of serialization system (TraceLink) to ensure seamless operations.

Develop and enhance serialization workflows across packaging, and supply chain processes to improve efficiency and traceability.

Handling of serialization alerts from the markets.

Participate in audits and regulatory inspections.

Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and trading partners to resolve serialization issues, conduct system integrations, and address compliance risks.

Implement monitoring programs to track serialization performance, address exceptions, and ensure systems are functioning as intended while preparing for audits and inspections.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is required at a minimum.

A minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in serialization within the pharmaceutical industry.

Deep understanding of serialization regulations worldwide, such as the EU Falsified Medicines Directives (FMD) and US Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in using serialization systems and tools.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is hybrid.
