About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
About the Role
Salesforce’s Global Consulting Partner organization is seeking a commercially minded, strategic and results-driven Partner Alliance Manager who can translate partner relationships into measurable business outcomes.
Why this Role Matters
This role goes well beyond traditional alliance management. You will own and execute a strategic vision with a portfolio of high-impact partners. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and driving partner accountability for product adoption, consumption and customer success. You will align partner strategies with Salesforce priorities, drive accountability for execution and ensure our partners deliver measurable growth, consumption and customer success.
What You'll Do
The ideal candidate combines the strategic thinking of a business leader with the commercial instincts, urgency and accountability required to drive revenue. You will be expected to identify opportunities before they emerge, build executive relationships, influence complex sales cycles and mobilize both partner and Salesforce resources to turn strategy into results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Partner Strategy and Execution: Establish a clear vision for each partner, align priorities to Salesforce’s business objectives and drive measurable results through disciplined execution.
- Accelerate Adoption and Consumption: Hold partners accountable for driving Salesforce product adoption, increasing consumption and delivering measurable customer success outcomes.
- Identify and Create Opportunities: Proactively uncover new business opportunities, develop innovative go-to-market strategies and translate emerging market trends into revenue-generating initiatives.
- Participate in Complex Sales Motions: Engage directly in strategic opportunities, influence sales cycles, remove barriers and mobilize partner and Salesforce resources to accelerate deal progression.
- Build Executive Relationships: Establish trusted relationships with senior executives across partner organizations and Salesforce to influence investment decisions, align priorities and accelerate growth.
- Drive Partner Accountability: Establish clear performance expectations, measurable KPIs and execution milestones. Proactively identify gaps, address underperformance and ensure commitments translate into business results.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Professional Services and other stakeholders to align resources, resolve challenges and maximize partner impact.
- Develop Differentiated Solutions: Work with partners to build and scale industry-specific solutions, AI-driven offerings and repeatable go-to-market motions that create competitive advantage.
- Influence Without Authority: Navigate complex organizations, challenge conventional thinking and drive decisions and outcomes across teams without direct reporting relationships.
- Maintain Commercial Discipline: Build and manage a qualified pipeline, assess business opportunities, track performance and consistently connect partner activities to revenue, consumption and customer outcomes.
- Operate with Ownership and Urgency: Demonstrate independent judgment, proactive leadership and end-to-end accountability. Anticipate challenges, make informed decisions and drive execution without waiting for direction.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience within alliances, sales or consulting with a strong track record of driving partner revenue and exceeding targets.
- Proven success developing and leading strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of joint GTM motions, co-sell mechanics, and investment programs.
- Executive presence with demonstrated ability to build trust and influence at the C-suite level across both Salesforce and partner organizations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce technology and applications and platform.
- Comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrates use of critical thinking techniques.
- Ability to design and present annual plans, track and articulate success.
- Willingness to travel (5–10%)
