The GCH - Finance team strengthen our focus on being a cost-effective organization and act as a catalyst for efficiency, effectiveness and continuous improvement. They focus on increasing cost transparency, identifying optimisation opportunities whilst leveraging technology and data strategy to drive simplification.
About your role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Fidelity's Global Cost Centre of Excellence (CoE) as a specialist leading two strategically important areas of enterprise finance: Professional Services and Global Legal Entity Cost Allocations & Transfer Pricing.
Working at the intersection of Controllership, Business Finance, Tax and Finance Transformation, you will provide end-to-end ownership of these areas, helping the business improve cost transparency, strengthen governance and influence enterprise-wide decision making.
Beyond delivering robust financial control, you'll continuously challenge existing practices, simplify processes, enhance reporting and identify opportunities to improve the way Fidelity understands and manages its cost base.
The role provides significant exposure to senior stakeholders across Finance and offers the opportunity to shape global finance processes and allocation methodologies.
Professional Services Cost Lead
- Own end-to-end accounting, reporting and analysis for Professional Services and other assigned cost categories.
- Deliver insightful month-end reporting, variance analysis and reconciliations, identifying key business drivers and emerging trends.
- Partner with Cost Controllers and Business Finance teams to provide meaningful commentary and actionable insights.
- Drive greater transparency across discretionary spend, challenging costs and identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency.
- Support planning, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis for senior Finance stakeholders.
- Act as the subject matter expert for your assigned cost areas, supporting Finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement.
Global Transfer Pricing & Allocation Models
- Own and execute Fidelity's Legal Entity cost allocation process and Transfer Pricing recharge models.
- Maintain and enhance global allocation methodologies, cost pool structures and allocation drivers, ensuring they remain robust, transparent and fit for purpose.
- Perform detailed analysis of allocation outcomes, explaining movements across legal entities and business areas.
- Support periodic enhancements to the enterprise allocation models (PCMCS) as organisational structures and business requirements evolve.
- Partner closely with Tax, Controllers and Legal Entity Finance teams to ensure allocations remain compliant with Transfer Pricing principles and accounting requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Partnership
- Build strong relationships across Group Control, Business Finance, Tax and Finance leadership.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into practical analytical solutions and process improvements.
- Lead and contribute to enterprise-wide Finance transformation projects relating to cost transparency, allocations and reporting.
- Maintain a strong control environment, proactively identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.
About you
- A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification Finance experience.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, management reporting and cost accounting principles.
- Experience in financial analysis, reconciliations and month-end reporting, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful business insights.
- Exposure to cost allocations, transfer pricing, legal entity reporting or related finance processes would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner effectively across Controllership, Business Finance, Tax and other Finance teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for simplifying processes, challenging existing ways of working and driving better outcomes.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills. Experience with enterprise planning or allocation tools such as Oracle PCMCS, Anaplan or similar platforms would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills Required
