The Role
- The Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic financial initiatives within a SaaS environment. You will collaborate closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to deliver data-driven insights and guide key business decisions. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced financial professional with a proven track record in SaaS financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Develop robust financial models and perform scenario analysis to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and potential risks, providing insights that inform executive decision-making.
Responsibilities;
- Develop and Optimize FP&A Processes: Build and refine the company's financial planning and analysis framework, tailored to the needs of a high-growth SaaS business.
- Deliver Actionable Insights: Provide clear, data-driven financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, focusing on key SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and retention.
- Reporting Excellence: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards for senior leadership and the board of directors, ensuring clarity and alignment with SaaS KPIs.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to enhance forecasting accuracy, optimize spend, and analyse pipeline health.
- Drive Process Improvement with Pigment: Leverage Pigment's capabilities to improve financial modelling, streamline forecasting, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Monitor financial best practices, SaaS industry benchmarks, and emerging tools to enhance FP&A effectiveness.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a SaaS organization.
- Demonstrated ability to model and analyze SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, etc.)
- Experience in financial modeling in both Microsoft Excel and within a corporate ERP / FP&A software solution (Experience with Pigment is a plus!)
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience using NetSuite and Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
