The Controlership team is seeking an experienced finance technology leader to drive digital transformation initiatives and deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making across our organization.

Position Summary

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Manager to join our Finance Technology and Innovation function, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance Technology and Innovation. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in finance operations, technology solutioning, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to streamline processes, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business value while collaborating closely with leadership to execute the team's vision.

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Support enterprise-wide finance technology transformation initiatives that align with organizational strategic goals

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and the Controllership Operations team to identify opportunities for technology-enabled process improvements

  • Contribute to change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes 

  • Help execute the technology roadmap for the Controllership and broader Finance organization

Technology Innovation & Implementation

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technologies including Agents, AI/ML, automation tools, and advanced analytics platforms

  • Manage and deliver technology projects that improve efficiency, compliance, accuracy, and operational insights

  • Contribute to innovation programs that encourage experimentation and adoption of emerging technologies

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior finance leadership on technology strategy and process enhancement opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor team members and project workstreams

  • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growth

  • Work effectively across stakeholder environments and competing priorities

  • Develop capabilities in emerging technologies and modern solutioning practices

Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Design and implement finance process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase operational effectiveness

  • Ensure all technology solutions maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal control requirements

  • Establish frameworks for internal controls and global policy compliance

  • Partner with Internal Audit, SOX, and compliance teams to support audit readiness

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Engage effectively with C-suite executives and senior leadership to communicate technology solutions and project outcomes

  • Present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in clear, compelling ways

  • Facilitate customer demonstrations and industry presentations showcasing innovative solutions

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across Finance, IT, and operation

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, technology delivery, or related fields

  • 3+ years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role managing technology projects or initiatives

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects on time and within budget

  • Experience working in global organizations with distributed teams across multiple regions

  • Fluent in prototyping AI solutions, testing machine learning models, and wrangling small/medium sized datasets

  • Experience with Salesforce (Agents, Tableau, Slack, Einstein, Data Cloud, etc.)

  • Experience with Snowflake

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements

  • Hands-on experience with  AI/ML technologies and practical application to business problems

  • Hands-on experience with  data visualization tools (Tableau or similar), Python, and modern ERP systems

  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake

  • Strong knowledge of  Salesforce platform and custom application development

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, or relevant technology certifications

  • Experience presenting at industry conferences or forums

  • Track record of early adoption and successful implementation of emerging technologies

  • Previous experience in SaaS, technology, or fast-paced growth companies
