As the Senior Manager Executive Communications Director, Product & Technology, you’ll serve as the primary communications partner to Procore’s President of Product & Technology (P&T) and select members of their leadership team. In this role, you’ll shape and execute the internal and external communications strategy for the P&T organization, driving clarity, alignment, and engagement across our product, engineering, and design teams as well as our external thought leadership strategy to further our position as the leading platform for construction and innovation.
You will craft narratives that connect Procore’s enterprise priorities to P&T’s work, fostering transparency through leadership forums and all-hands and supporting the organization through periods of growth and change. You’ll also partner with PR, Brand, and Social teams to elevate P&T’s external thought leadership, ensuring our innovation story is well represented in the market. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires strategic insight, sharp storytelling, and a deep under standing of technical audiences.
This role reports to the Director, Internal Communications and is based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Serve as the primary communications partner to the President of Product & Technology (P&T), shaping their voice and driving clear, consistent messaging across all internal and external platforms. This includes preparation for customer meetings, board meetings, internal and external speaking engagements, organizational announcements, media interviews, and more.
Lead the development of the President of P&T’s keynote presentations at internal and external events.
Develop a cohesive internal communications strategy for the P&T organization, drafting communications authored by the President of P&T—including Town Halls, innovation and product updates, leadership forums, Slack communications, and organizational change moments.
Partner with Brand, PR, and Social Media teams to develop and activate a thought leadership platform for the President of P&T and select product leaders—particularly in the areas of product innovation, AI, and technical excellence.
Translate Procore’s enterprise strategy into relevant, actionable narratives for technical teams when delivered by the President of P&T—helping employees understand how their work connects to the company’s broader goals.
Provide communications counsel and support for leadership transitions, organizational updates, and business transformations within P&T, in partnership with the President of P&T
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of experience in executive and internal communications, preferably in high-growth tech, product-led, public companies.
Proven experience advising and partnering with C-level executives and technical leaders, with confidence and discretion.
Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Strategic mindset with the ability to simplify, align, and drive clarity through communications.
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Comfort navigating technical environments and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and design leaders.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; willingness to travel occasionally (~10%).
MUST be based in Austin or open to relocating to Austin, with the ability to be in office, as needed, to engage with P&T Leadership (~3x/week).
Base Pay Range:
144,000.00 - 198,000.00 USD AnnualThis role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation.
