Caterpillar is transforming the way we plan, align, and execute our global supply network-and we're looking for a visionary Senior Manager of Digital Product to lead the charge. This role sits at the heart of our digital supply chain strategy, guiding the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of our Network Planning & Execution digital product suite, including our enterprise digital twin.
As a senior leader, you will shape the future of how Caterpillar synchronizes demand and supply across the globe. You'll lead a high‑performing, globally distributed team and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver digital capabilities that drive measurable business value.
What You'll Do
Lead Global Digital Product Strategy & Execution
  • Oversee a global team of Digital Product Owners and Regional Deployment Leads, ensuring alignment to product vision, business priorities, and enterprise outcomes.
  • Guide the development and deployment of Caterpillar's Network Planning & Execution suite of digital products, enhancing end‑to‑end demand and supply alignment across the enterprise.
  • Build, refine, and execute the digital product roadmap-accelerating capability delivery while meeting cost, quality, and timeline commitments.
  • Lead a global digital product organization, including seven direct reports, providing coaching, performance management, and strategic direction.

Drive Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner closely with operations to monitor product performance, adoption, and value creation.
  • Analyze user feedback, operational data, and business needs to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and shape new features.
  • Establish and maintain clear reporting on product quality, usage, and business impact.

Champion Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with business process owners, procurement, supply chain leadership, and other stakeholders to position, promote, and scale digital capabilities across the organization.
  • Coordinate with IT and external technology partners to deliver new releases and features on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure seamless integration of digital tools into business processes, driving engagement and long‑term adoption.

What skills you will have
Expert level decision making and critical thinking Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Ability to translate business needs into actionable product strategies and measurable outcomes.
Effective communications Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills. Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Digital product management Strong understanding of digital product development and enterprise‑scale deployment. Ability to operate and manage digital product development projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle.
Software change request management the ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.
Digital product business knowledge: knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision. Proven experience leading global teams in a complex, matrixed environment. A passion for building digital capabilities that transform how organizations operate.
Exceptional candidates will also have experience and domain knowledge in supply planning, such as:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP or ERP) systems
• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP, SIOP, or Integrated Business Planning)
• Capacity Planning methodologies, such as Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)
• Relevant supply planning technology platforms such as e2open, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions, Kinaxis, or similar
• APICS CSCP certification or similar
Additional Information
The primary work location for this role is Mossville, IL OR Irving, TX, with a requirement to work on‑site full‑time at a Caterpillar facility.
Up to 10% travel may be required.

Summary Pay Range:
$159,120.00 - $258,570.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
