Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Mondelez Data Science/AI Community of Practice (CoP) through various online and offline channels. Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement, participation, and retention with various functions and regions. This includes driving management engagement, creating awareness of value of the CoP at working levels and sustain working relationship with the community of AI practitioners in Mondelēz .
- Is the owner of the Data Science/AI COP Marketplace. Curates high-quality content for the community, including 1) upskilling pathways, 2) CoP concierge service, 3) knowledge repositories (code library, documentations etc). Monitor and respond to community feedback, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Owns the AI CoP onboarding, and upskilling learning pathways contents. Partners both internal resources and external partner(s) to curate, execute and upkeep the curriculum. This includes the certification of Mondelēz data scientists.
- Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and experts in the Data Science and AI/ML industry. Keeps up-to-date with the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the community. This includes identifying, procuring and maintaining partnerships with external organizations that Mondelēz needs to accelerate its path to be AI-native.
- Provide support to Mondelēz's functions and Business Units, with 'art-of-possible' workshops for data science use-cases. Leverage the broader MDS and D&A community to inspire and deliver impactful use-cases and implementations.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering
Skills
- Brings 7+ years of applied data science, data analysis and analytics translator experience
- An advantage if candidates come with 2+ years of experience in community management or social media management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technology and industry trends.
- Experience in developing and executing community engagement strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.

Mondelēz International is the world's largest chocolate, biscuit and candy maker, and the second largest gum maker. Our North American and U.S. headquarters are in East Hanover, New Jersey, about 25 miles outside of New York City. We have Canadian offices in Toronto and Montreal. We have a strong North American manufacturing presence where we make our well-loved snacks like Oreo cookies, belVita breakfast biscuits, Trident gum and Cadbury chocolates. Our East Hanover location also houses our global research and development center for our consumer-favorite cookie and cracker brands.
