Cox Communications is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analysis to join our team.
Your role and what you'll do:
As the Senior Manager, Data Analysis , you will support reporting & analytics for the Contact Center Operations organization. You will be responsible for providing analytics support that delivers business insights to help drive contact center operational efficiencies, generate revenue growth and improve the customer experience. You will lead an analytics team and work closely with business partners, stakeholders and initiative owners to provide data driven insights, recommendations and solutions that enable the business to make inform strategic and operational decisions. Individuals with strong business and analytics acumen, with proven track record of leading highly effective and impactful customer centric teams, will be an ideal candidate for this role.

  • Works with business partners and stakeholders to understand primary business strategy, objectives & priorities. Provides analytical support by connecting these goals with underlying data to generate actionable, insight driven analysis.
  • Identifies opportunities to drive operational efficiencies, revenue growth and process improvements. Provides recommendations and data driven solutions.
  • Leads special analytics projects and business impact analyses.
  • Supports critical business projects and initiatives, providing thought leadership on data requirements and scope of analysis necessary to deliver meaningful business insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Effectively translates complex data driven analysis into clear, meaningful and actionable findings and recommendations.
  • Uses statistical concepts such as variance, standard deviation and correlation to analyze, interpret and explain factors and relationships related to business operations and performance.
  • Monitors and analyzes contact center KPI performance trends and proactively identifies risks and opportunities. Conducts root cause and impact analysis; provides actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitates preparing and delivering the Monthly Operations Review, including evaluating KPI performance, providing insights & analysis, and utilizing data driven storytelling to highlight important business impacts and trends.
  • Leads, coaches and develops highly skilled, productive and engaged analytics team. Cultivates customer centric team brand and serves as a valued business partner.
  • Partners with peer groups across the organization to learn and share best practices.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical processes, procedures or cross-functional methods.
  • Seeks development and continuous learning opportunities to improve knowledge of data analytics tools, technology and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Business Intelligence & Analytics, Information Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field


Preferred

  • MS degree +6 years of experience in a related discipline OR Ph.D +3 years of experience in a related discipline
  • 10+ years successful experience developing advanced analytics solutions (e.g. predictive models, anomaly detection models, correlation models, etc.)
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and data analytics tools/platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Oracle/SQL, AWS, etc.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-organizational team environment collaborating with the business leads on key analytical deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop highly skilled, motivated and engaged teams.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with a proven history of influencing outcomes and gaining alignment.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment.
  • Prior experience with data analytics in a contact center environment, specifically working with voice, chat, & digital data.
  • Experience working in communications industry with a focus on telecommunications, data, cable.

USD 117,300.00 - 195,500.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
