- Drive a faster, higher-quality close by streamlining workflows, standardizing reconciliations, and establishing consistent review and sign-off procedures across the general ledger.
- Own core operational accounting areas, cash, prepaids and accruals, fixed assets, leases, and intangibles, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and on time across entities.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policy.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure all areas of the ledger are integrated into a cohesive, well-controlled close.
- Strengthen internal controls over the close and operational accounting processes, building documentation and review procedures in alignment with SOX and public company expectations.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation, and by responding to auditor inquiries.
- Drive process improvement and automation across the close, identifying opportunities to enhance accuracy and efficiency through ERP capabilities, BI tooling, and AI-driven solutions.
- Contribute to public company readiness by strengthening accounting processes, documentation, and reporting cadence in alignment with SEC and SOX expectations.
