This role is strategically focused on partnering with the Director, WW Channel Commerce Strategy to drive the technological and business evolution of Veeam's partner ecosystem. The position is responsible for ensuring that all partner programs are not only streamlined and automated but also aligned with Veeam’s long-term strategic objectives. By working closely with internal and external stakeholders—including channel programs, finance, operations, sales, R&D, and pricing—this role will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The individual will play a key role in identifying strategic opportunities for growth and innovation within our commerce platforms, collaborating with our Corporate Technology partners to implement solutions that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and overall success of our partner programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, trusting relationships with key business leaders across Sales and other critical functions to anticipate future needs and align on strategic goals.
- Define Business and Technical Requirements: Identify and articulate functional business requirements covering all aspects of the partner lifecycle. Propose high-level process and system enhancements to support the evolving needs of the partner ecosystem.
- Facilitate Business Transformation: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive necessary business changes, enabling new automation and enhancing overall efficiency.
- Lead Change Management: Oversee change management processes across various business units, ensuring the successful rollout of new functionalities and their seamless integration into existing operations.
- Drive Project Planning and Execution: Partner with the Corporate Technology Organization to develop project work plans, define critical strategic questions, and ensure delivery against key milestones.
- Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer direction and strategic insights to support subject matter experts in delivering impactful results within their respective workstreams.
- Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams, identifying risks to project plans early and ensuring successful project completion on time and within budget.
- Act as Escalation Point: Serve as the escalation point for critical issues that may jeopardize project success, ensuring the appropriate resources are mobilized to mitigate risks.
- Support Project Workstreams: Step in to support project workstreams when subject matter expertise is lacking or unavailable, ensuring continuity and progress.
- Ensure Seamless Handover: Ensure that workstreams are effectively implemented and smoothly transitioned to operating teams for ongoing execution and operation.
- Deliver Executive-Level Updates: Build and present comprehensive project status updates to the steering committee and executives, including the CEO, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Design and Implement Reporting Governance: Collaborate with sales leadership to design and implement robust reporting and governance processes, providing regions with proactive governance and actionable business insights.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Technical Skills
- Ability to work in a technical environment of exceedingly fast growth
- Ability to use all Office products proficiently, and understand basic terminology around data centers, servers, backup software, etc.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience using project management and business planning softwares
- Proficiency in developing and documenting end-to-end processes and project-related artifacts such as business requirements, flow charts, solution designs, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and turn data into actionable insights
Experience
- Seven (7)+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, business operations, product management or systems role with strong focus on business process, quote-to-cash, and growth
- Advanced knowledge of order management and quote-to-cash platforms and their end-to-end processes (such as Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills
- Experience working remotely with global, cross-functional teams
- Channel and Service Provider Experience a strong plus
The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$231,800—$331,100 USD
