The Campaign Build Senior Manager leads a high performing team that is responsible for the building, coding, producing, and testing of marketing and operational email and SMS communications according to the campaign strategy; using either JavaScript, HTML coding and/or a building tool during the digital assembly process. This team also monitors and verifies the accuracy of campaign content, initiates QA, schedules, and deploy the campaign. This is a unique opportunity to have a hands-on role in shaping and innovating the customer experience that results in over 600M impressions per year through our 1:1 channels.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter and proven leader who possesses a strong record of accomplishment in operations and technical build functions. This role will also provide thought leadership in process improvement, automation, and technology capabilities.
What You'll Do

  • Leads a team of individuals responsible for building, testing, and deploying 1:1 communication across the enterprise including Direct Mail, Email, SMS, Push Notifications etc.
  • Understands best practices for customer communication technology capabilities and how workflows built in Adobe Campaign to be able to deliver detailed requirements
  • Designs, codes, and tests responsive email templates using HTML/CSS for optimal rendering across multiple email clients and devices
  • Designs, codes, and tests Marketing and Operational emails and SMS including, but not limited to, acquisition/upgrade campaigns, product notifications, payment reminders, cancellation notices, new subscription updates and account maintenance.
  • Proactively identifies and remedies issues of common email rendering bugs and quick workarounds.
  • Configures and deploys email campaigns using Adobe Campaign Classic, ensuring proper delivery type, and scheduling. Confirms successful delivery by monitoring ACC deployment report.
  • Conducts thorough quality assurance (QA) testing to verify the accuracy of, functionality, and performance of email campaigns across different environments and devices.
  • Tracks and manages the creation of functional designs and templates; identifies risks and benefits of alternate designs; calculates costs/benefits of potential actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI
  • Provides strategic leadership and drives change for build process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Tracks/refines execution SLAs and manages capacity for the build team
  • Builds strong relationships with transparent and timely communication between project stakeholders to set and maintain expectations for delivery objectives, scope, and timing
  • Develops a process for effectively mitigating risks and resolving issues related to project delivery
  • Develops methods to measure stakeholder satisfaction; obtains feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that project efforts meet customer expectations
  • Facilitates program-related meetings and executive-ready presentations to senior leadership
  • Exercises strong organizational leadership skills with direct reports and other subject matter experts

Who You Are
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript coding, including hands-on experience deploying email and SMS campaign deliveries within multi-channel marketing applications like Adobe Campaign, SFMC, etc., coupled with the ability to independently code and troubleshoot HTML/CSS without reliance on WYSIWYG editors
  • Solid understanding of dynamic email content, personalization techniques, and email marketing automation workflows using JavaScript
  • Experience with rich-media personalization elements featuring real-time content, including proficiency in live content platforms (Liveclicker, Movable Ink, etc.)
  • Expertise in technology delivery methodologies and process improvement
  • Ability to define and execute technology capability roadmaps
  • Basic understanding of testing and QA
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office and some use of database and project management tools, preferably Airtable
  • Ability to set clear team objectives, motivate, and lead a high performing team
  • Relationship building and collaboration skills to effective work with teams and leaders throughout organization
  • Experience serving as a liaison with key external vendors and internal boundary partners.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to the situation, be flexible, resourceful, and nimble in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to foster and work in an inclusive environment


Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related discipline
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Prefer certification and/or experience in Adobe Campaign.


USD 106,700.00 - 177,900.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
