As Senior Manager, Audit Intelligence Enablement, you will sit at the heart of innovation within Novartis Internal Audit—bridging audit expertise, data science, and ways of working to ensure analytics and intelligence capabilities are not only built but fully adopted and valued. This role is about enablement over engineering: leading use cases from idea to real‑world impact, embedding them into everyday audit execution, and empowering auditors to work smarter, with confidence, clarity, and trust in the insights they use.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
Lead audit intelligence use cases end to end, from concept through pilot, rollout, and sustained adoption.
Work with audit teams to translate needs into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria for our data science delivery team.
Partner with data science teams through design reviews, testing, and release readiness from an audit-use perspective, ensuring solutions meet usability and adoption expectations.
Embed intelligence capabilities into Internal Audit ways of working, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and templates.
Define practical guardrails to ensure responsible, traceable use with clear documentation standards.
Enable and coach auditors and audit leaders to drive correct, confident, and consistent adoption.
Track value and adoption metrics, using structured feedback to prioritize continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel for this role: 5%
Essential requirements:
University degree in accounting, finance, business, risk, information systems, data and analytics, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in internal audit, finance, risk, compliance, or assurance environments.
Proven experience translating execution needs into clear functional requirements for technical delivery teams.
Strong track record of driving adoption of new tools or ways of working through coaching and enablement.
Experience leading pilots and scaling analytics or artificial intelligence use cases into execution.
Solid understanding of responsible and traceable use expectations, including documentation, limitations, and evidence standards.
Desirable requirements:
Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant, or similar.
Experience working with data science or analytics teams in regulated or assurance environments.
