We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel, Competition to be part of Ericsson's global Competition and Antitrust team. In this role, you will help support Ericsson's work to mitigate and manage competition/antitrust risk through a comprehensive competition/antitrust compliance program as well as counselling and supporting Ericsson stakeholders on all aspects of competition and antitrust law and policy, globally.
This position will be based in Brussels or London.

The Competition/Antitrust team is part of Ericsson's Group Function Legal Affairs team. This position reports to the Head of Competition and Antitrust.
You will:
- Serve as a competition law subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior business and legal leaders and their teams
- Develop strategies, procedures and processes in collaboration with stakeholders to mitigate antitrust and other legal risks
- Drive Ericsson's competition law program by developing and maintaining policies, directives, instructions and processes that are relevant and reflect relevant laws and internal ethical rules
- Monitor legal and policy developments in competition/antitrust and related regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions and assess their potential impact on the company
- Represent the company in investigations, inquiries, or proceedings involving competition or regulatory authorities and help manage any antitrust matters or litigation
- Participate in internal compliance investigations concerning competition law or issues
- Develop and deliver training programs for business and legal teams on competition and antitrust matters
- Proactively provide tools, training and communications to promote competition law awareness
You will bring:
- 10 - 15+ years of global experience in competition law and policy, preferably as in-house counsel at an international level
- JD, LL.B., Master of Laws, or equivalent degree with specialization in competition/antitrust law
- Qualified and authorized to practice law in the jurisdiction where they will perform legal work
- Extensive experience in driving competition/antitrust programs in a multinational company
- Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
- Highly collaborative with demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives, external partners, and government authorities/regulators
- Strategic thinker able to manage complex, sensitive matters independently in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Excellent judgment, maturity, and experience handling crisis or high-stakes situations
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity: able to gather diverse inputs and synthesize them into clear, focused strategies
- Excellent communication skills, including persuasive writing, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong project management and process improvement skills
- International experience and cultural awareness
- Proven ability to manage legal matters independently
- Highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct
- Proactive, driven team player who initiates and leads change.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral skills, including storytelling; additional languages are a plus
- Prior experience at a competition enforcement agency is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
