Our Group Function Legal Affairs and Compliance team ("GFLA") in EMEA -one of four Market Areas within Ericsson -delivers strategic support across a spectrum of commercial, regulatory, employment, and governance matters, empowering market achievements and ensuring regional compliance. The team works closely with regional leadership to navigate legal challenges and advance business objectives.

As Senior Group Legal Counsel within Customer Unit West Europe (CU WEU) and the EMEA Group Function Legal Affairs & Compliance (GFLA), you will be a senior legal partner to legal and business teams in this Customer Unit, focusing in particular on Ericsson's activities in France and the Netherlands. In this senior role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for legal matters across a spectrum of complex commercial, corporate, regulatory, public procurement, data protection, competition, intellectual property, sanctions/trade control legal issues and dispute resolution. This includes leading and/or providing senior partnership across high-value and complex customer sale and sourcing contracts, strategic partnerships, corporate transactions/M&A activity, corporate governance and advisory matters and R&D activity.
This position will be based in Massy, Brussels or Breda and you will report to the Head of Legal France and Benelux.

What You'll Bring:
Top-Tier Legal Acumen : You're a seasoned legal professional qualified to practice as a lawyer with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in a corporate in-house setting or at a leading law firm, with broad international experience and agility to work at a senior level. Experience in the tech/telecommunications/defence industry is a plus.
Strategic Mindset : You possess strong business acumen and a strategic mindset. You can think critically, analyse complex situations, and provide sound legal advice that supports business objectives.
Exceptional Communication/Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills : You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You can build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and you're adept at navigating challenging conversations. Fluency in English and French is a prerequisite.
A Growth Mindset : You're a passionate and driven individual with a desire to learn and grow. You embrace change and are eager to contribute to the evolution of Ericsson's legal function.
