We are looking for a passionate, business-savvy, talented Senior Counsel, Commercial Procurement to join our Legal Team in Israel. In this unique role you will focus on Israel and EMEA commercial and procurement related matters and you will be working cross-functionally with internal business partners as well as vendors and partners supporting procurement and other commercial-related transactions with the opportunity to grow into other functional areas. We are looking for someone who is well versed in commercial laws, with emphasis on Licensing transactions and complex MSAs, and has some knowledge of other commercial agreements and can provide legal advice and practical solutions on these matters. This position is based in our Tel Aviv and Netanya offices.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Procurement in JFrog you will…

• Be an integral member of the commercial function, supporting the procurement process to accomplish business objectives while managing risk.
• Partner with and advise business teams in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of a broad range of third-party vendor agreements, including SaaS and other technology licensing agreements, consulting and subcontractor agreements, partnership agreements, data processing agreements and nondisclosure agreements.
• Provide legal advice on and serve as the first point of contact for contract matters, inbound contract-related requests, and non-standard contract term requests.
• Support and coordinate with subject matter experts relating to compliance, finance, intellectual property, data security and privacy.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes relating to vendor contract negotiation workflow across multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
• Provide legal guidance on the development and update of procurement policies, handbooks, training, and procedures in compliance with applicable laws.
• Stay abreast of changes in commercial laws and regulations to advise the company proactively.

To be a Senior Legal Counsel, Employment in JFrog you need...

• Law degree from an accredited law school (LLB); Admitted to practice law in Israel, at minimum.
• Current Israel bar membership.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Israel commercial laws and regulations, as well as some knowledge and understanding of commercial laws in other jurisdictions (preferably, EMEA).
• At least 6 years of substantive commercial law experience, focusing on licensing transactions, and preferably with an in-house legal department, and some experience as a commercial lawyer in a first-tier law firm.
• Excellent communication skills and business judgement.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to make discretionary decisions with confidence and minimal guidance.
• High integrity and professionalism.
