Job Description

Just imagine rebuilding a key e-commerce marketplace channel into a stable, profitable, and brand-healthy growth engine. Then make it real!

About the role

As our Senior Key Account Manager, you'll lead the EMP channel through a major reset, owning key customer relationships, negotiating annual trading terms, and driving Joint Business Plans that balance commercial growth with brand health. You'll translate China's evolving digital retail trends into customer strategies, identify growth opportunities across customer segments, and partner with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver effective launches and promotions. You'll also lead business reviews, shape channel plans aligned to business priorities, and help ensure the LEGO® Group strengthens its presence across key B2B e-commerce marketplace partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered trade promotion strategies that improved commercial performance and promotion effectiveness
  • Managed sales forecasting processes and translated demand signals into actionable plans
  • Built commercial analytics approaches that informed customer decisions and business priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied digital merchandising practices to improve online customer experiences and performance
  • Delivered omnichannel initiatives connecting digital and commercial objectives
  • Used data analysis to identify growth opportunities and support business planning
  • Managed CRM tools and customer data to strengthen account development and engagement

What you'll build

  • Channel plans aligned with business priorities and customer growth opportunities
  • Strong Joint Business Plans with key marketplace customers
  • Productive customer relationships that balance commercial results with brand standards
  • Scalable ways of working that improve channel effectiveness and execution
  • Data-driven business reviews that lead to clear actions and measurable outcomes
  • Sustainable growth across key B2B e-commerce accounts

Within your first year, you'll help re-establish the channel as a stable, profitable, and brand-healthy source of growth. If you've worked in a role where you owned a customer business, managed a P&L, and turned customer relationships into formal business plans, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to understand performance drivers, connect insights to action, and build long-term value.

Life on the team

You'll join the MG China Sales eCom B2B team, where we define channel strategy, build customer partnerships, and turn market insights into commercial action. We meet weekly to review performance, align on priorities, and solve challenges together. Our team is deliberately flat and collaborative, with a hybrid rhythm that encourages open discussion and shared ownership. Storytelling, critical thinking, commercial acumen, change agility, and strong customer partnerships all play an important role in how we work.

What success looks like

Success means becoming a trusted partner to key customers while helping shape the future of the channel. You'll work closely with other Key Account Managers and operations teams to strengthen execution and support growth priorities over the next 12 to 18 months. Strong performance will be reflected through sustainable business growth, healthy customer partnerships, improved forecast accuracy, and better promotion return on investment.
