About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to manage a major retail account. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in Dutch or French. The start date by mid-March and will be a 7-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the major retail account, ensuring strong relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for account strategies.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports and updates on account performance.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and campaigns.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience on a similar role.
- Strong account management skills of large retail accounts in FMCG.
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong internal network.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer behavior in the FMCG sector.
- Ability to develop and implement effective account strategies.
