ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of over 2000 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals.
We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub, then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies. Now we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1800 colleagues active in Data and Analytics Tech, Tech Foundation and Channels, Retail Core Banking and Architecture, and Global Products and Technology Services.

The Mission
Our mission is to design and deliver reusable mobile components that
form the foundation of our global mobile ecosystem. By establishing a
new team in Romania and working closely with our colleagues in the
Netherlands, we combine local ownership with international collaboration
to build scalable, long-lasting solutions.
Your day to day
Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your
morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when
comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:•You will be a key member of one of the teams working on the
components
•You will be representing the mobile chapter to counterparties from
the ING Group
•You will take part in the integration and deployment of modules in
different countries
•You will set up and design various form of UI and unit tests
•You will take part in and give presentations to the other members of
the mobile community, both in Romania and abroad
•You will interact with various leadership levels of the organisation
•You will work closely with the other members of the chapter to
ensure that best practices are being used in the implementation of the
product at all stages
What you’ll bring to the team
• Experience: at least 4 years of experience as an iOS Developer
• Tech stack/ knowledge:
o Mandatory:
o iOS development using Swift
o hands-on experience with highly customized UI design
o hands-on experience with CI (knowledge of industry
standard tools such as Swift PM)
o hands-on experience with test driven development mindset,
Unit and UI Test automation (e.g. XCTest)
o hands-on experience in modular architecture
o Nice to have:
o SwiftUI
o Modern Swift Concurrency
o Combine
o agile methodology
o Foreign languages: English (advanced)
o Education: nice to have Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT
related field
