Sr Internal Control Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Internal Control Specialist to lead and enhance our internal control framework across multiple countries. This role will drive annual self-assessments, risk management, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with best practices and leveraging SAP Process Control. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, optimize methodologies, and champion automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate, coordinate, and execute the annual self-assessment and remediation process.

• Provide internal control expertise and advisory across multiple countries.

• Support stakeholders in designing and optimizing functional controls.

• Oversee the administration of SAP Process Control, Master Data, and Risk & Control Matrix.

• Continuously improve internal methodologies, procedures, and policies.

• Develop and update internal control templates, documentation, and instructions.

• Optimize and automate internal control processes and reporting to enhance efficiency.

• Promote internal control awareness within the organization.

• Lead and drive internal control-related projects to support business transformation.

What You Will Need

• University degree in internal control, auditing, finance, business process management, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in internal control, audit, or risk management.

• CIA/CPA or similar certification preferred.

• Strong financial literacy, with expertise in internal controls and risk management.

• Experience with Power BI and MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior management.

• Proactive mindset with a “get things done” attitude and a drive for improvement.

• Sound independent judgment in risk assessment and decision-making.

• Fluency in English (verbal & written).
