The Role
Our Opportunity:
Chewy seeks a customer-centric Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing to join our Integrated Marketing Communications team. In this position, you will envision and implement go-to-market strategies for Chewy's Private Brands portfolio of products. You will lead all aspects of producing engaging and insightful campaigns crafted to encourage, delight, and connect with pet parents while driving growth in our customer base, revenue, and private brand offerings. This role can be based in Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA, or Plantation, FL.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead, develop, and build Chewy campaign strategies and data-driven integrated marketing plans to support our Emerging business that focuses on Equine and Exotics, ensure successful launches, and leverage events that delight Chewy pet parents.
  • Champion the customer throughout the marketing planning and execution process, keeping the customer at the center of all we do.
  • Coordinate the collaboration of various teams in driving all marketing initiatives across Chewy-owned properties, encompassing both online and offline channels, to cultivate customer trust and deliver an experience with outstanding results.
  • Coordinate the creation of crucial campaign materials, such as drafting the integrated marketing plan, go-to-market documents, campaign creative briefs, and marketing calendars, while also presenting the strategy to senior leadership.
  • Identify and assess new opportunities by outlining analytical plans, metrics, key performance indicators, and risks while fostering innovation in our organization's marketing. Monitor campaign performance to identify ways to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate efficiently with category leaders, site merchandising, creative teams, studio, PR, marketing channel owners, and brand and product marketing teams.
  • Lead a robust post-mortem process to fully document campaign performance and opportunities to serve as inputs to future builds, creating an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Set up and simplify processes and mechanisms such as playbooks to facilitate the efficient flow of information and collaboration across teams.

What You'll Need:
  • A passion for the customer and a consistent track record of developing data-driven marketing plans that tie to business initiatives and deliver results.
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience in a consumer-focused industry, ideally in an e-commerce environment, with a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and agility for experimenting with new channels.
  • Steadfast customer curiosity: You know your market, customers, and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your growth strategies.
  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
  • A "driver" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator, and a master simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and an effective content strategy. You can also play copywriter.
  • Grittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on; you persevere when others fall away.
  • Ability to act as a business owner. You know how businesses work and earn revenue, with a track record of developing and using deep business insight.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, tackle problems, remove barriers, and challenge the status quo.
  • Strong analytical skills, reading relevant data, drawing conclusions, and providing a recommended course of action.
  • Must be nimble enough to negotiate with multiple Team Members, have the backbone to represent your point of view with partners, and flexible enough to accept direction.
  • Be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and adapts easily to change.
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills, including communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Must know how to get work done within a large and complex organization involving multiple collaborators.
  • Ability to operate independently and efficiently to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and optimally without sacrificing quality of work or customer experience.
  • Bachelors degree, Master degree a plus
