What it’s like to be a Northbridge Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for collaborating on the development and execution of complex projects. Infrastructure Engineers have a thorough skill, understanding, and mastery of all aspects of the specialty area. Infrastructure Engineers lead projects with 2-3 internal/external resources.

Through daily management, maintenance and enhancement of the enterprise-level IT infrastructure and solutions, you will be ensuring that are adopted across the enterprise.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

• Maintain and enhance enterprise-level IT infrastructure.

• Interface with systems analysts, solution designers, data architects, and business stakeholders, to understand the business-technology infrastructure requirements.

• Design, develop, test, and document solutions within a complex technology infrastructure environment to align technical and business goals.

• Work with a team of analysts, engineers, management, and business stakeholders to identify optimal infrastructure solutions for implementation, while assessing technical and business suitability and its impact to the enterprise’s systems.

• Manage daily operations and functionality of technology infrastructure solutions and applications.

• Research, evaluate, and recommend operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations/procedures, and insurance industry trends/developments, to enhance the security process.

If you have:

• 7-10 years experience in specialty

• 3-5 years experience in an engineer role 

• Post-secondary education, or equivalent experience
