Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure, the Sr. DevOps Engineer will provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud and on-premises network infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives related to cloud connectivity, network operations, automation and infrastructure as code, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that align with organizational objectives.

What you will do:

  • Lead technical endeavors, providing vision and guidance for network and cloud projects.

  • Demonstrate an engineering mindset, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.

  • Act as a team player, collaborating effectively across teams and mentoring junior staffers to foster growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Perform operational network maintenance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and ensuring network reliability and performance.

  • Design, implement, and support AWS Cloud network connectivity, including Transits, inter org peering and Direct Connects.

  • Architect and manage Azure Cloud network connectivity, including Express Routes and Virtual WAN.

  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines for network automation and infrastructure deployment.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible and Terraform.

  • Manage and optimize Cisco networking environments (SDWAN, switching, routing, wireless, Catalyst Center, Viptella).

  • Deploy and support Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, Prisma Access, and cloud-focused AIOPs.

  • Integrate ServiceNow and DNA Center for network automation and orchestration.

  • Support hyperconverged infrastructure for on-premises storage and compute.

  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.

  • Ensure all operations and configuration is compliant with the organizational policies and standards.

  • Work with our information security teams to ensure that all configurations and process and secure in compliance with infosec and industry controls

  • Participate in after-hours deployments as needed to ensure infrastructure readiness for the next business day.

  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation that includes weekend and holiday support within the team to support critical issues when needed

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 3 years in enterprise network engineering and DevOps roles.

  • Proven expertise with AWS and Microsoft Azure Network connectivity but not restricted transits, Direct Connects, VPC Peering, Express Routes and Virtual WAN, UDR’s, etc.

  • Hands-on experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco networking technologies (SDWAN, Switching, Routing, Wireless, Catalyst Center, Viptella) and Palo Alto firewall deployments (Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, Prisma Access, AIOPs, cloud deployments) in cloud environments.

  • Proven experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, and Python to streamline and optimize administrative workflows.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with vendor engagement, and solution upgrades.

  • Ability to drive change, adopt best practices, and deliver results within timelines and budget.

  • Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Experience leading delivery on major features and complex projects.

  • Certifications in networking are considered an asset (CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, AWS Advance Networking, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate)
