The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.
The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

We are seeking for a dynamic, high-calibre and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Human Resources Business Partner, responding to enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on HR-related matters;
- Support the full spectrum of HR services including recruitment, performance management, and other HR-related functions;
- Assist in compensation and benefits-related processes, including insurance benefit renewal process, annual pay trend review, and promotion exercises;
- Manage staff cases, including employee relations and case management, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes;
- Support supervisors in the formulation, review and implementation of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, statutory requirements and best practices;
- Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to team members to build capability and sustain high performance;
- Prepare HR reports, analytics and system-generated data to support HR operations and decision making;
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- University graduate or equivalent, preferably in the related disciplines;
- A minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, preferably gained from sizable organisations. The ideal candidate should have broad exposure across multiple HR functions, including compensation & benefits management, performance management and employee relations;
- Hands-on exposure to HRIS platforms supporting core HR processes;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with different levels of employees;
- Strong work ethics with high degree of integrity;
- Service-oriented, attentive to details with a “can-do” attitude;
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.

Skills Required
- Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years relevant HR or related experience
- Experience in supporting HR operations within an APAC or global environment with exposure to overseas offices
- Experience in HRIS implementation or system enhancement
- Well organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Mature, proactive with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
