About this opportunity:
We are looking for talented trainees (LBO+ or MBO thinking level, telecommunications oriented) interested to start or develop a carrier in Telecom and IP Infrastructure Field Services.
The Field Maintenance Engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance on locations of our customers (both (mobile) telecoms and IP infrastructure related). The Field Maintenance Engineer also performs onsite installation and commissioning of new equipment.
The FSO department (Field Service Organization) is constantly developing and searching for new opportunities. Therefore, we are looking for flexible candidates who are eager to learn new techniques and are willing to think with us about our ways of working and development.
What you will do:
  • Corrective maintenance at site locations within the criteria as agreed with our customers
  • Preventive maintenance at site locations according specified guide lines
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment at site locations
  • Works on heights, i.e. rooftops and antenna towers
  • Performs consignation services
  • Works according the Health and Safety regulations as stated by law and internal company rules
  • Ensure that the sub-contractors installation staff works according to instructions given by Ericsson

The skills you bring:
  • LBO+ or MBO thinking level and proven affinity with Telecommunication or IP-infrastructure.
  • Speaks Dutch fluently and clearly and speaks English good. Excellent Dutch writing skills, good English writing skills
  • Performs well when working alone, but also able to work in a team
  • Is capable to work under pressure to reach challenging targets
  • Result oriented, responsible, service minded, flexible, taking initiatives
  • Is capable and willing to work on heights, on rooftops and in antenna towers where climbing is required
  • Is capable and willing to perform consignation services
  • Has general skills in working with computers
  • Problem solving capability
  • No 9 to 5 mentality, able and willing to work overtime when needed
  • Self-learning and improving, learning from mistakes
  • Is pro-active, gets the information needed and seeks ways to find solutions
  • In the possession of driving license B
  • Good communication skills
