A day in the life:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, efficient technical solutions
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive and engaging user interfaces
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs across both serverless and traditional architectures
- Ensure performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility across applications
- Promote high engineering standards and mentor junior team members
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Business
What you will need:
- 5+ years of hands-on fullstack development experience
- BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue also welcome)
- Solid backend experience, with a preference for Python (Node.js or Ruby also a plus)
- Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed systems (AWS is a strong plus)
- Proven track record delivering production-grade applications
- Deep understanding of databases, APIs, and web technologies
- Proficiency with GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor etc.) to boost productivity, plus a growth mindset around continuously improving personal and team efficiency through AI
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with both serverless (e.g., AWS Lambda) and non-serverless architectures
- Background in insurance or related industries
- Comfort working with remote, distributed teams across time zones
